HOW DOES CAR CHIP TUNING WORK?
Every modern car engine is controlled by an engine control unit (ECU). This software determines how much fuel is injected at which RPM, when the turbocharger builds boost and how the engine operates across the full RPM range. Manufacturers often program the ECU conservatively — to achieve fuel efficiency in test conditions, to position model variants differently, or simply to maintain safety margins. With chip tuning we read the original software, precisely optimise the relevant maps for your vehicle and write the new software back. The result: noticeably more power and torque — without any hardware changes.

Petrol or diesel?
Both engine types benefit. Turbodiesels respond particularly well — gains of 25–40% are possible. For turbopetrol engines the potential is 20–35%. Naturally aspirated engines gain 5–15% depending on configuration.
Which models are suitable?
All modern vehicles with a turbocharger (from approx. 2005) are very well suited. Especially popular: VW/Audi TSI & TDI, BMW petrol & diesel, Mercedes AMG & CDI, Ford EcoBoost. We check your options free of charge.
Is it financially worthwhile?
For diesel vehicles, eco tuning often pays for itself within 6–12 months through reduced consumption. Performance tuning also increases driving pleasure and resale value.
What about the warranty?
For newer vehicles under manufacturer warranty, chip tuning is generally not recommended. Since the tuning is reversible at any time, the original state can be restored before every workshop visit — in approx. 30 minutes.
