Modern tractor engines are controlled by an engine control unit (ECU) — just like cars or trucks. Many manufacturers deliberately throttle the factory software to market several power stages of the same engine. John Deere, Fendt, New Holland, CLAAS and other brands sell identical engines in different power stages — throttled by software. So the potential already lies dormant in your tractor. Through targeted chip tuning we unlock this reserve: more drawbar pull for heavy field work, more power on hills, and with eco tuning simultaneously less fuel consumption.

Is it worthwhile for newer tractors?

Especially for newer models (from approx. 2010) the potential is great, as these are fully ECU-controlled. With some models gains of 25–35% are realistic — which can replace the decision to buy a new model.

Does it work with attachment equipment?

Yes — the tuning acts directly on drawbar pull and torque. Especially when ploughing, pulling heavy trailers or with rotary mowers the difference is immediately noticeable.

Of course. We come with our service vehicle directly to your farm. No transport, no hassle — your tractor stays on the farm and is ready for work again in 1–2 hours.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does the warranty expire with tractor chip tuning?

The manufacturer warranty is a matter that should be checked individually. Since our tuning is fully reversible, the original state can be restored in approx. 30–60 minutes before any warranty case.

How long is the tractor out of service?

Usually 1.5 to 2.5 hours — depending on the vehicle and tuning option. We plan the appointment around your farm schedule: for example during a work break or in the evening.

Is tuning possible for leased tractors?

Since our tuning is reversible at any time, it is also possible for leased vehicles — the original state can be restored before return without any problems.

Can the tractor still be serviced at the dealer after tuning?

Yes. Since no physical modifications are made to the engine, all normal maintenance work can be carried out as usual. For warranty issues we recommend resetting the tuning state beforehand.

OPTIONAL DEACTIVATIONS

In addition to tuning, the following software optimizations can be performed — all also via OBD2.

EGR Delete

Deactivate exhaust gas recirculation — less deposits, more reliability in continuous field operation.

DPF Solution

Software-side deactivation of the particulate filter — no more regeneration at the worst possible moment. Off-road/agricultural use only.

SCR/AdBlue

Deactivate AdBlue system — no expensive SCR errors, no AdBlue costs. Agricultural use only.

RPM Increase

Optimise maximum RPM of the tractor for more output with PTO operation.

Hydraulic Optimisation

Optimise hydraulic pressure and control via ECU for more direct response and higher efficiency.

PTO Optimisation

Software calibration of PTO power and start behaviour.
